Perhaps these ordinary gestures carry thoughts and feelings for someone—or something—even when we are not aware of them. The exhibition also features a special display of an original paper crane folded by Sadako Sasaki, who continued folding cranes while living with the aftereffects of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Artist Profile: Atsunobu Kohira Born in Hiroshima, Atsunobu Kohira is a contemporary artist based in France and active internationally. パピエポ 紙の育つ植木鉢　 僕たちは制作活動で、不要となった紙をよく見ます。 例えば、読み終えた雑誌、印刷で出た排紙など そんな役割を終えた紙を原材料である植物に近い関係で そのままの素材を活かし、この紙に再び命を与えたいと考えました。 植木という人工的な自然物を 紙という人工的な自然物をつかって飾る。 植物を育てるのと同じように鉢も育てる。 そして、そのまま自然に帰るものに。 時が経つにつれて、　 表面に自然な紙のゆらぎが現れ様々な表情を楽しめます。 パピエポーは積載された紙を切り抜き、糊づけしただけなので 役目を終えた時に生分解しやすい構造になっています。 紙がある程度吸収するため、水やりはそのまま出来ますが 頻繁に水やりが必要な植物には向きません。 多肉植物や水やりの頻度が少ない植物を植えるのをお勧めします。 ※写真は多肉植物を植えて１年経過したものです。 papierpot Par le biais de nos créations artistiques, nous rencontrons fréquemment des déchets de papier ainsi que des magazines datés, des déchets d’imprimerie, des flyers, etc. Au lieu de les ignorer, nous souhaitons les redonner la vie au plus proche de leur origine.
